Production Machine Operator

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated, reliable, and skilled Machine Operators to join our Production team. The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient operation of our manufacturing equipment to meet production targets while upholding the highest standards of quality and safety. Machine operating or SOP experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Set up machines prior to production runs, ensuring proper calibration and configuration.
• Conduct regular inspections and perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment to ensure smooth operation.
• Document production activities and collaborate with team members to troubleshoot problems and optimize processes.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Food Safety: Notify management of any Food Safety issues and conform to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and production documents.
• Mechanical Aptitude: Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Teamwork: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Flexibility: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and squatting (up to 13 hours).
• Ability to sit and perform work on a computer or at a desk.
• Continual use of arms, wrists, and hands (including grasping and squeezing) throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver full drums of chemicals using a dolly/forklift for assistance.

Work Hours:

• Full-time
• Day & Grave shifts
• 12-hour shifts
• Sunday-Wednesday
• Includes Shift differential for Grave
